♡Must-haves for Autumn & Winter♡

Hallo~!
Uwaa haha, I'm terrible aren't I?(○ノдノ) It's been a longggg time since I made a post!! I'll try to post more from now on q(^O^)p
Anyway, today what I wanted to talk about was some essentials for the colder season! Autumn is a transition season so it's super important to take care of our skin during this time~

♡Skincare♡

Oki oki, I know this isn't exactly skincare, more like haircare...either way this kind of thing is really important! In the summer time out hair tends to get oily quickly, plus there's the constant use of heat and other products on our hair to keep a hairstyle...but then in the Autumn, all of a sudden our hair turns crunchy and dreadful ^^; The damage really builds up! I absolutely love the Etude House Silk Scarf line~ They not only make your hair smell super good, but they definitely do help with easing all the damage & dryness!

For about 1 year now, I've been using the St.Ives green tea scrub and I love it♥ Don't let the word "scrub" intimidate you! It's a veryyyyyyy gentle scrub kind of cleanser, I use it ever day. I only really use this at night, since I wear makeup. It's important to get a thorough cleaning of your skin, whether or not you wear makeup! I also love this because it helps get rid of dead skin cells, helping you skin to look more radiant.

When colder weather hits, it's pretty common for our skin to look a bit dull @__@ Our skin isn't as hydrated, and exfoliating doesn't remove all the skin cells! I absolutely LOVE the Pearl Aura line, you can definitely see results. Keep in mind that this is for brightening - not whitening! Meaning, it's suitable for pretty much all skin tones! These 3 products work best when used all together, but if you were to get only one I'd recommend the moisturizer (second picture)!

It's super important to not only hydrate your face & hair, but also your body! Nobody wants dry & crusty knees/elbows lol~ I've been using the body butter from the Peach line from The body Shop for about a year now and it smells soooo good. It smells EXACTLY like peaches, I was actually very shocked when I smelled it at the store...

Dead skin build up isn't only on your skin! It's on your lips too! It's quite unappealing too, unfortunately... It's really important to exfoliate your lips, year round! Exfoliating your lips help them look more supple & help you lip makeup stay on longer! I use this lip scrub everyday~ Actually, I don't know if it's a good thing or bad thing。・゚(´□`)゚・。 Just, dead skin appears on my lips so quickly~

♡Makeup♡

In Autumn especially, brown eyeliner is absolutely gorgeous~ Brown eyeliner is a lot more softer than black eyeliner, plus it's more natural! The trendy colour of the year is Marsala, which fits perfectly with brown eyeliner~ There's tons of brown eyeliner out there, but one of my favourites is definitely the Sailor Moon Miracle Romance Brown Eyeliner! Brown eyeliner looks best with a thinner wing, rather than a cat eye wing~(゚∇^*)

In winter especially, the cold weather & atmosphere tends to suck the life out of our faces(´・д・`) So, blush is perfect to add a little glow back to our faces! Of course our skin tends to get quite dry, which is why I like to use fluid or sometimes cream blushes during cold weather season! Sometimes if my base makeup is very moist, I might take the risk of powder blush~ For a nice liquid blush, I recommend the Missha Style Sheer Liquid Blush! The colour is very light, but it's buildable, so you can adjust it to your liking!♥

It's really important to keep your lips moisturized, season round, but the affects of cold weather on lips is kind of devastating...(T__T) So that's why in cold weather especially, I love using colour tinted lip balms~ There's sooo many colour tinted lips balms out there, but one of my favourites would be the Canmake Stay on Balm Rouge(*’▽’*) The colour pay off is really nice and it's quite moisturizing! The colour I own is
03 Tiny Sweet Pea! I'm planning on getting maybe 1 or 2 more shades soon, but I'm exploring some other makeup products before I do ^^

♡Etude House Moistful Aloe Gel♡

Hallo~!٩(๑′∀ ‵๑)۶

Today I'll be talking about another product from Etude House! This product is kind of...a "hidden gem"?? Maybe??? ^^; Mmm, noone ever talks about it, I think because either Nature Republic or The Face Shop also came up with a product like this (which got waaaaayyyyy more attention). Anyway, today I'll be talking about the Etude House Moistful 92% Aloe Gel!  Let's start~♡

♡Price: ¥1400/$12♡
♡Amount of Product: 300 ml♡

So for a long time I was having trouble finding a suitable morning moisturiser~ I realllllly don't want to put any "heavy" cream on my skin in the morning because it makes me face look oily quickly, plus, it's just really suffocating (T__T) But then I saw this and it was a gel consistency! Plus, it was aloe vera!! I had always known that aloe vera is very soothing so when I looked at this and saw that it has 92% aloe vera, I wasn't sure if it was true or not @___@ So, as I do with most skincare products, I read the ingredients list! And sure enough, it was pretty short, with aloe vera being the first ingredient. So of course, I was pretty much sold haha~

This product doesn't really have any particular "benefits". Most moisturisers have claims like "brightening" or "anti-wrinkle" but this one, does not. Which is alright, seeing as I'm only using it as a morning moisturiser, really not a big deal q(^ O ^)p However, that is something important to know if you're thinking of buying this product.

I know that you can buy this product in either the tub packaging or the pump bottle packaging. I believe they contain the same amount of product? Same price too, I think. I know a lot of people really hate tub packaging due to sanitary reasons, but for me it's not too big of a deal. Whenever I touch my skin, I always make sure my hands are as clean as possible. But either way, when you open the product, the little protective plate under the lid has a lot of product on it. So, it's very easy to swipe some from there without having to dip your fingers in the actual tub!(*бωб)

(you can see how crusty dry my hands look)

When using this product, you really don't need a lot ^^; Once you rub it in it feels exactly like water, but a bit more refreshing. You should definitely wait a bit before adding the next product on your face, because it feel kinda like a residue on your face at first. It's kinda hard to describe, it's not like it feels heavy or anything. Just that when you touch your face, it feel like you put water on your face and it's in the process of drying/being absorbed. A few minutes later and it should be fully absorbed. But that's why you definitely shouldn't apply too much, it'll just take longer to dry (。・ˇ_ˇ・。)

♡Pros♡

Lightweight
A lot of product
Very natural
Good for all skin types
Inexpensive

♥Cons♥

Takes a few minutes to really be absorbed

Overall:♡♡♡♡♡ 5/5

It's just a very simple & lightweight moisturiser q(^ O ^)p
It's good for people of all skin types~
It feels good on the skin and is soothing (especially if you refrigerate it for a bit)

Buy again?
Maybeeee
(Only if I can't find another moisturiser that's light enough)

♡Thank you for reading!!♡

♡Etude House Baby Choux Base///Peach Review♡

Hello everyone!(ó㉨ò)ノ♡ Today I'm here with a review from Etude House! It's the lovely Baby Choux Base (in peach). I have the newer packaging, the squeeze tube. This base comes in 3 different flavours: Peach, Mint, & Berry! I believe the mint is to help people with redness, the peach is to brighten up the overall appearance, & the berry...I'm not sure actually (; w ;) Anyway, Let's start!

As always with Etude House, the packaging is adorable! It has a really cute pastry theme on the box with little choux creme puffs~! And on the actual packaging it has little lace designs, and overall it's just really cute! I'm impressed with the detail on the packaging!

The colour of the cream is a very light peachy colour, and it has a very silky feel to it. It also has a light baby powdery-peach smell to it. But, it does wear off once applied, so it's not a problem at all!

When you rub it into your skin, you definitely notice a very slight coverage. It really does brighten up, while providing a very sheer coverage. This would be perfect for days when you don't want to wear too much make up: just apply some of this base and a light powder on top!

This is really excellent for people who have dull or uneven skin tone, it really does a lot for that.It can helps give you a really flawless and light looking base.

Once completely rubbed in, the texture is kinda interesting. It has a bit of a powdery finish, but it doesn't feel dry or anything. It feels VERY silky to the touch!(♡∀♡)

♡Pros♡

Helps even out skin tone
Cute packaging
Brightens up any dullness
A little bit of coverage
Easy to dispense product
Didn't break me out
Very lightweight

♥Cons♥

Has a light smell (Which isn't really a problem for me but...)

Overall: ♡♡♡♡♡ 5/5

It's a super cute product that does everything it should!( ´ ▽ ` )ノ

Buy Again?

Probably! I don't know any other better bases, so until then I'll stick to this one! ^ O ^

♡Etude House Cookie Blusher/// #10 Peach Parfait♡

Hihihi~
(to whoever reads my blog ^^;)

Today I'll be doing a review from one of my favourite brands(ó㉨ò)ノ♡ Etude House♡ The product that I'll be talking about today is the Lovely Cookie Blusher in the colour Peach Parfait♥ So, let's start~! q(^ O ^)p

♡Colour: #10 - Peach Parfait
♡Finish: Matte-satin
♡Price: ¥750/$6
♡Amount of product: 8.5 g

When I first looked at all the colour options I heard my wallet crying a bit
I wanted ALL of them~! I almost...bought...all of them.... almost

But it is summer time and I decided I wanted a lovely peachy colour! Lately, I've been really interested in peach themed things in general: scents, colours etc etc

Anyway the packaging was probably the first thing that caught my eye @__@ It's soooo pretty, it has a really lovely princessy feel to it haha~ The lid/top is just a semi-opaque frosted plastic. When you open it, there's a fluffy little princess puff applicator, and under that, there's the actual product.
Actually I didn't like the puff at first. Maybe I was picking up enough product, but it would hardly transfer to my face ^^; Actually, it seems like a lot of people had that problem before. But this was just first time use. But actually, the puff works fine, you just have to pick up enough of the product (but not too much!!!)
 (1 Swipe)

 (2 Swipes)

 (3 swipes)

 (3 Swipes)

(5 Swipes)

I absolutely loved the colour~ It's a bit of a watered down peachy-coral tone. However, it is very buildable, in case you want the product to appear more vibrant on your cheeks. Either way, it gives you a lovely flush.

The finish was also enjoyable. I was slightly afraid it might look chalky or just powedery (I have a minor fear of powder blushes ^^;). But actually, the finish was very beautiful. It's not really chalky or anything, it's more of a silky-satin kind of feel. Of course, it is matte though! So no shimmers or anything like that~

Also, I wanted to mention that I was impressed with the colour range for this product. It's not just basic colours, it has lovely "in-betweens" as well. So some of the colours in this line are a bit more unique, or maybe not as easy to find(◕㉨◕✿)

♡Pros♡

Satin finish/Not chalky
Good colour playoff
Adorable packaging
Low price
Buildable
Large range of colours Available

♥Cons♥

None @___@

Overall:

 ♡♡♡♡♡ 5/5

I adore this blusher!! There's nothing bad I can really say about it q(^ O ^)p
Everything from the colour, the finish to the packaging is perfect~

Buy Again?

Probably!! I want to try some other blushers too though!
